Q: What sizes of storage units do you offer?

A: We offer a variety of storage unit sizes to cater to different needs, from small lockers to large spaces. Please contact our office to find the best fit for your belongings. See Specs

Q: Is there a minimum rental period?

A: A minimum of one full calendar month (Any partial rent paid is not refundable).

Q: How much notice has to be given before I move out?

A: 7 days prior to move out, please contact us by phone or email (a written move out notice must be filled out) The unit must be completely empty, clean and the key returned to our office.

Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my storage unit if needed?

A: Absolutely! Depending on availability, you can upgrade or downgrade your unit size. Just reach out to our team for assistance.

Q: How secure are my belongings at your facility?

A: Your belongings' safety is our top priority. We have advanced security features, including electronic security, computer access gates, and surveillance cameras. Plus, our facility is constructed with solid masonry for added security.

Q: Do I need to provide my own lock?

A: You can bring your own lock or purchase one from our facility for added convenience.

Q: Are there any items I'm not allowed to store?

A: Yes, there are certain restrictions on items like hazardous materials, perishables, illegal items, and flammable goods. Please consult our terms and conditions or contact our office for a detailed list.

Q: How often can I access my storage unit?

A: Our commercial storage customers can access their units seven days a week, from 6 am to midnight.

Q: What happens if I miss a payment?

A: We have a grace period for payments. If a payment is missed, a late fee may apply. Continued non-payment could result in restricted access to your unit. We recommend contacting our office immediately if you foresee any payment issues.

Q: Do you offer insurance for the items I store?

A: While we prioritize the safety of your belongings, we recommend customers take out insurance for added peace of mind. Contact our office for information on insurance partners or recommendations.

Q: Can I transfer my unit to someone else?

A: Transferring a unit typically requires official documentation and approval from our management. Please reach out to our office for specifics on the transfer process.

Q: What payment methods do you accept at Sylvania Self Storage?

A: ACH -payment from your checking or savings account (is our preferred method of payment) A form can be mailed or emailed upon your request. If you have questions, please feel free to contact our office.

As well as a variety of other convenient ways: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, personal check and cash.

Q: Are there any discounts or incentives for long-term storage?

A: Yes! We offer one free month to our storage customers who pay for an entire year in advance. PAY for 12 months for and get 1 month OFF!

Q: I heard about an option to pay directly from my bank account. How does that work?

A: We're working on introducing a facility for our customers to pay directly from their checking or savings accounts (ACH). If you're interested in this option, please contact us, and we can provide you with the necessary forms via mail or email.

Q: What are your operational hours? Can I access my storage unit at any time?

A: Sylvania Self Storage is open seven days a week. While our office is operational from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, our commercial storage customers can access their units from 6 am to midnight every day of the week.
